    Teleflex's ultrasound lab is a hands-on learning opportunity designed to help ER nurses enhance their practice in peripheral vascular access. This lab focuses on the ins and outs of point-of-care ultrasound that can be applied to various clinical scenarios and includes a station for intraosseous access as well!

    This workshop offers evidence-based knowledge on ECMO for patients with respiratory and/or cardiac failure. Participants will receive a comprehensive overview of the indications, applications, management, and unique challenges involved in caring for patients on ECMO. The workshop includes case studies, high fidelity simulation, and open discussions to ensure that participants can apply critical reasoning to the care of ECMO patients and meet the learning objectives.

    This workshop covers background neuroanatomy, the role of imaging in stroke and its implications for patient care, and provides a detailed, step-by-step tutorial on performing the NIHSS assessment in real-world settings - complete with updated videos! It will highlight challenging patient assessments and time-saving techniques, addressing the high acuity and busy nature of emergency department nursing.
